This compilation, co-authored by members, aims to cover from simple to innovative best practices, from governance, to water management, to circularity and packaging, among other categories.
These solutions will be available in detail in our solutions platform and its summary will be in the final piece/document, that will be launched in a media event in months to come (Estimated for November).
The Zero Waste Bar Guide is a practical toolkit to help bars reduce waste and rethink their operations through a circular lens.
Developed in partnership with Sustainable Wine Solutions, it features real-life examples from trailblazing venues like Angelita Madrid, Fura in Singapore, and The Cambridge Public House in Paris. From zero-ice cocktails to upcycled ingredients and refillable wine systems, these case studies show what’s possible.

The 2024 Achievements & Future Impact report highlights Porto Protocol’s progress in climate action, key milestones, financials, and challenges. It outlines 2025-2026 goals, including operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and impact measurement, while introducing major initiatives like 101 Climate Solutions for Wine and the Wines of Change Auction to drive industry-wide change.

As part of the work on sustainability conducted with the 5 Portuguese wine regions (see above), this documentary encapsulates the voices of grape and wine growers, their ideas, practices, opportunities, challenges and concerns.
5 Months, 9 sessions, 23 trainers and guest speakers, 36 participants from all over the wine world representing the whole value chain. It was with this unique combination of people, knowledge and diversity that we delivered an immersion into the carbon cycle of wine from soil to sip proactive carbon management.
