Porto Protocol joins Dão Wine Board in organizing a conference about #sustainability in #wine, Friday 21st, with a variety of topics and guests:

English speaking panels will have Daniel Speck (FWM Canada | Wine, Beer, & Spirits,) Rolf Erling Eriksen (A/S Vinmonopolet) and Christian Miller (Full Glass Research, USA) talking about the vision (and requirements) of the trade on sustainability and Edwin Massey (New Zealand Wines) and Riccardo Ricci Curbastro (Equalitas, Italy) present their Sustainability Certifications. These panels will be moderated by wine journalist and #climatechange specialist Nick Breeze.

Portuguese speaking panels will count on the acclaimed Portuguese Sustainability scheme (Wines of Alentejo) with João Luis Barroso talking to Míriam Mascarenhas (Herdade Dos Grous), Helena Ferreira (Adega de Borba) and Ana Maria Rodrigues (Global Wines Portugal) about their sustainability path and experience.

We’ll have producers from different regions explore their practices: David Manuel Lopes Ferreira (Companhia das Lezírias, SA), Francisco Bento dos Santos (Quinta do Monte d’Oiro) Joao Paulo Gouveia (@Pedra Cancela), Luis Leocadio (Quinta da Biaia) e Luis Pato.
