Alejandra Galvan leads sustainability at Iconic Wineries of British Columbia (IWBC), a portfolio of eight estate wineries across the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada. Since establishing the company’s sustainability department in 2023, she leads initiatives in decarbonization, resource efficiency, biodiversity and land-based education initiatives. Her work focuses on integrating sustainability into operations while aligning environmental objectives with long-term business performance.
With an educational background in Environmental Studies & Sustainability, Alejandra combines analytical insight, creativity, and curiosity to tackle complex challenges. She approaches sustainability as both a science and a practice — building solutions that create measurable environmental impact while helping the wine industry grow in a thoughtful, resilient way.
