Alessandro Zironi is a research fellow at the University of Udine, where he earned a degree in Management Engineering and completed his PhD in Industrial and Information Engineering. Since 2015, he has been working as a business organization and production process optimization consultant in the wine and beverage sector.
His research focuses on the development of integrated methodologies to support the sustainable transition of the wine supply chain, with particular attention to the integration of Lean Management principles, process mapping, and the energy and water optimization of production operations.
He is the author of publications in international scientific journals, serves as project manager of the Master’s Program in Wine Supply Chain Management and delivers technical seminars within the courses of the Departments of Engineering and Agriculture at the same university.
