With over 20 years’ experience in the wine sector, she started at the Instituto da Vinha e do Vinho (Portuguese Institute for Vine and Wine) in 2004, going through several technical and leadership roles.
From 2018 to 2023, she served as Board Member and CFO at Companhia das Lezírias, overseeing the wine and olive oil sectors while also acting as CSO, leading sustainability strategy. In late 2023, she joined INIAV / National Wine Station, focusing on applied research in sustainability in agriculture, including topics such as soil economics and regenerative agriculture.
Currently working as an independent sustainability and ESG consultant, with a particular focus on the wine business, she supports organisations on embedding sustainability into their business models to enhance resilience, risk management and long-term value creation, assisting them with certification processes.
With a Master’s in Management, she is a PhD student in Sustainability Sciences at the University of Lisbon. She also lectures and serves as Vice-President of the NGO Business as Nature.
