Clos de tres cantos
At Clos de Tres Cantos we follow the principles of regenerative agriculture, we use algae extract and compost to nurture the vineyard. We have biologic seed corridors that are rotated annually to protect the ecosystem and foster biodiversity. For water management we installed underground drippers and sensors to take better actions based on data from soil and plants, and we developed a wet land for gathering the water from the rain and the water flowing done from the mountains in order to feed the phreatic layers. Our facility is totally done with recycle materials, with a biophilic touch. Wines are done with honesty and passion, following minimum intervention winemaking, and fostering the philosophy of wine in moderation.
Sustainable, supportive, and socially responsible winery, located in the Guadalupe Valley, Ensenada, Baja California.
Union of philosophy and ecosophy that form our vision: “Creating Experiences that bring us closer to Nature”, Our strategies are aligned with our Ethic Code, which is based in three pillars: The Planet, the People and the Community, principles that we want to share with all those who visit us and taste our wines.
By opening our doors, we want to touch the lives of the people who visit us, turning the art of wine into an experience. Beginning with a tour of the winery, visitors are immersed in the discovery of the sustainable architecture of the winery’s deconstruction, designed by Mexican architect Alejandro D “Acosta, and in the minimally invasive winemaking processes where complex and well-structured wines are produced, full of aromas and flavors that express the wisdom of the terroir.
The regenerative organic agriculture process implemented in the vineyard and the water management that we implement are also explained. As we enter the tasting room, serenity and tranquility invade us, allowing us to calmly taste the wines and try unique pairings designed to invite us to contemplate Nature selflessly, while we share a glass and a good conversation.
