GRAMONA COMPANY SUMMARY
We are the fifth generation of a winemaking family and we consider our experience, and the humility that comes with it, to be our greatest asset. We believe that, in our area, on our land in the Anoia and Bitlles river basins near Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, it is possible to produce sparkling wines, which are “up there” with the world’s greatest sparkling wines. To do this, we have formed an alliance with a unique grape variety: the Xarel·lo, the backbone of our sparklings.
The fifth generation of Gramona has also started making still wines and sweet wines which aim to express the character of our local terroir and delight lovers of good wine. True to our belief in respecting the environment, we manage our vineyards according to organic and biodynamic principles.
