Henry of Pelham is an estate winery, owned and operated by the Speck family since 1982.
We are strong believers in the importance of sustainability from soil to shelf. Henry of Pelham is proud to be one of the first wineries in Ontario to have had both our winery and vineyards certified by Sustainable Winemaking Ontario.
“Real sustainability is never done. It’s an ongoing process of improvement where we find and apply the best new practices, never being afraid to break with the past.” Daniel Speck
Henry of Pelham is an estate winery, a special place where the valley of the Short Hills Bench meets the weathered mountain of the Niagara Escarpment.
We produce handcrafted, award-winning wines that are available across Canada and in 21 other countries and counting.
The winery and vineyards are certified by Sustainable Winemaking Ontario and we are committed to minimizing our environmental footprint.
This is critical for the long-term preservation of both Ontario’s Greenbelt, and the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.
We believe in sustainability from soil to shelf. When your family has been on the land for six generations, sustainability takes on new meaning.
